30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your hosting plan within the first 30 days, we will refund your money under the terms below.

MzilSystems stands behind its hosting services. If you are not satisfied with your hosting plan within the first 30 days, we will refund your money under the terms below.

1. Who Qualifies

This guarantee applies to first-time hosting plan purchases only (Starter or Pro). Specifically:

  • You must be a new MzilSystems hosting customer, or purchasing a plan you have not previously held;
  • The guarantee applies once per customer, not per plan or per renewal;
  • Renewals, upgrades, and add-on purchases are not covered;
  • Existing customers adding a second plan are not eligible for a refund on that second plan under this guarantee.

2. The 30-Day Window

You have 30 calendar days from the date of purchase to request a refund. The purchase date is the date your payment is successfully processed, as shown on your invoice.

Refund requests received after the 30-day window are not covered by this guarantee. They may, however, be considered under our separate Refund Policy.

3. What Is Refunded

Eligible refunds are full refunds of the hosting plan fee paid, with the following exclusions:

  • Domain registration fees are non-refundable. Once a domain is registered or renewed through us, the fee is paid to the upstream registrar and cannot be recovered. The domain remains yours to transfer to another provider.
  • SSL certificate fees (where a paid certificate was issued) are non-refundable.
  • Third-party services purchased on your behalf (e.g. paid DNS, paid CDN add-ons) are non-refundable if already provisioned.

If your purchase bundled a free domain with hosting, the domain registration fee (at our cost) will be deducted from the refund amount.

4. What Is Excluded

This money-back guarantee does not apply to:

  • Custom web or app design and development work. These services are quoted separately and are governed by the terms in your project proposal or quote, not this guarantee;
  • Services already delivered, including completed migrations, completed setups, or any work performed on your behalf that has been finished and accepted;
  • Abuse or policy violations. Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms & Conditions, acceptable use policy, or due to spam, malware, or illegal content are not eligible;
  • Accounts cancelled due to non-payment.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under this guarantee:

  1. Email support@mzilsystems.com from the email address associated with your account;
  2. Include your account name and the words “Refund Request” in the subject line;
  3. State the reason for your request (this helps us improve, but is not required for eligibility); and
  4. Submit the request within the 30-day window.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 10 business days to the original payment method. Some payment processors may take additional time to reflect the refund on your statement.

6. Account Closure on Refund

Issuing a refund under this guarantee closes your hosting account and removes your hosted content from our servers. You are responsible for downloading any files or data you wish to keep before requesting a refund. We recommend exporting backups before submitting your request.

Once a refund is processed, your account cannot be reinstated and your data is not recoverable.

7. Relationship to Consumer Law

This guarantee is in addition to, and does not replace, any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee under that law, you may be entitled to a remedy that this policy does not limit.
